In his letter, Crowe noted, “I have recently been shown disturbing information from citizen activist Richard Mahoney that gives me reason to believe that possible evidence of suspected child sex abuse may have been destroyed by the Louisiana Department of Health without LDH having received permission from the Secretary of State to legally destroy and dispose of such records.” Crowe identified the records as Induced Termination of Pregnancy records from
1999 to 2010 that should have required an SS ARC 930 permission to destroy form from the Secretary of State. Those records are required by state law to be kept permanently.

“I will put the first $25,000 into a scholarship fund and work to raise up to $250,000 annually through private matching contributions in hopes of heightening awareness of the importance of voting for high school seniors who are eligible or about to become eligible to cast their first vote,” said Crowe.

PEARL RIVER, LA. – Former 16-year veteran legislator A.G. Crowe, (R) Pearl River, announced today that he will be a candidate for Secretary of State in the fall election.
Crowe, a graduate of the former Francis T. Nicholls High School in New Orleans and Southeastern Louisiana University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, will enter the race with an extensive business background as the former founder and CEO of The File Depot, a records management company with 23 franchise units in 12 states.
